Headlines: This subdivision of the headlines page is where all of the league wide headlines (not associated with player transactions) go. Player retirements, trainer and coach signings, trainer and coach releases, and more are all featured under this heading. It is important to watch the Headlines in a league because this is where you will be alerted about new players in the free agent pool as well as new coaches and trainers available as well. Transactions: This section, under Headlines is often off the page and requires you to scroll down to see it. It contains all the information about player transactions. When a team releases a player, signs a player or brokers a trade with another team, most of the details will be itemized here. Aside from the obvious reasons to read the column, sometimes questionable trades slip by the league commissioner. If you see a suspicious trade between teams, please notify support immediately. League News: The league news section contains system wide notifications. All updates to the game and administrator notes to players will be displayed here. It is very important to read this section when news articles are posted as most of them have wide ranging implications and often contain changes to the game that effect all owners. [View Sample]
Team Info: Team info is the location where news information about your team is stored. When news items appear there, they are for your eyes only. Everyone's team info section should (and will) be different. Free agent rejections are posted there as well as any other information that relates to offers that you made that were refused. When a free agent does reject an offer from your team, typically a reason will be stated, so you may revamp your offer. Please note that if a free agent signs with a franchise no information will be posted in your Team Info section, the announcement will be made in the transactions section instead. [View Sample]
